September brought a noticeable shift in the Vancouver and Fraser Valley housing markets, with home sales cooling even further. Metro Vancouver saw an 8.4% dip in sales, while Fraser Valley sales were down 4%. Apartment sales had an even steeper drop at 18.6%. Prices also softened, declining 5.5% in Metro Vancouver and 7% in the Fraser Valley, as high inventory and a more cautious approach from buyers shaped the landscape.
